yesterday 2018-11-26 15:45 – the Us session is kicking in and right afer I took a quick profit with a Long order in S&P500, I inserted a short in Gold. Price broke below pivot P. I inserted a Stop Loss at 20 ticks and target down below at S2.
today 13:30 – I check the chart and realize that Sierra has cancelled my bracket orders, I don’t understand why.
In the meantime price has moved down and up, and I’m at break even so I leave the trade as is and insert a Stop Buy and a Stop Buy Limit order down to S2.
15:45 – price has moved down nicely, and I exit with a +30 ticks profit.
This trade didn’t respect the Slope Rider Strategy, it followed the trend and used Pivot levels as entries; I was at the computer for a few brief moments only today, otherwise perhaps I would have let it run down to S2 for a larger profit.
